This was an impromptu photo shoot with scrappy looking Buster, a poodle Chihuahua mix. Though I didn’t have the full spectrum of gear I needed at the time, I couldn’t go without photographing him. I’m learning that it’s not always about the technically perfect shot, but about the perfect captured moment. Frankly, unkempt dogs like this just kill me. They always have leftovers trapped in their beards and look as if they just rolled out of bed in the morning, much like I generally do.
